Fragrance - Our new amber incense recipe is massively oriental, with a gentle but intoxicating sweetness and sultry hints of musk and spice. An almost sensual scent, you'll fall in love with this uniquely evocative take on a traditional amber. Warming, exotic and vibrant.

Ingredients - This incense is scented with labdanum resin, vetiver oil, patchouli oil, vanilla oil and sandalwood oil. These ingredients are added to our all-natural incense base. This is made up primarily of bamboo charcoal (a very eco-friendly charcoal), sandalwood and vanilla powder, bound with resins and gums, like frankincense. This is all mixed together by hand before being rolled onto thin bamboo sticks. Sometimes we dust the batch down with a little organic dye for a little colour.

Fragrance - Our black frankincense incense is ethereal and sweet with hints of sea air and pepper. Made without oils or a scented base, the only thing you smell is the ground black frankincense resin. Something that any incense lover just has to experience - Extremely easy on the senses.

Benefits - Long used in aromatherapy as a mood enhancer, a recent study carried out by researchers at Johns Hopkins University found that the burning of pure frankincense resin activates ion channels in the brain that can help to alleviate anxiety and stress. It was also found to stimulate the release of TRPV3 - a protein that drastically reduces the symptoms of depression.

The Resin - Our black frankincense resin is traditionally and carefully harvested from organic mature trees in the Dhofar region of Oman, a region where the grade of frankincense has been set aside for royalty.
